About HPG
Horizon Production Group was founded in Sydney in October 2024 by Corey, a DJ turned entrepreneur. After noticing consistent gaps, delays, and friction in the live entertainment industry, he embarked on a mission to provide seamless music and entertainment solutions paired with unmatched service.
While Sydney faces an ongoing challenge to revive its nightlife, this has only fueled Corey's ambition. Seeing venues struggle to find entertainment that genuinely hooks and retains customers, he set out to build something better.
The vision was simple: bring together a premier team of talented performers and showcase their skills across a diverse range of venues and audiences. By tapping into a deep industry network, Corey was able to build a strong foundation for the agency.
The road to building a business is never without its challenges, but navigating those roadblocks is what makes the journey rewarding. Founder Corey Smith brings years of firsthand industry experience to the table. Having spent time in the trenches, he knows exactly how easily events can derail due to poor planning, oversight, or a lack of testing. Driven by a genuine passion for live music and the entertainment industry, Corey refuses to settle for anything less than excellence in what he delivers.
To bring this vision to life, he has assembled a talented roster of skilled individuals under the Horizon Production Group banner.
